Recommended teaching resource sites

Teachit is well worth a visit. It contains practical resources compiled by English and Drama teachers in the UK these resources have been centrally collated and edited. Teachit shares a proportion of its subscription revenues with the teachers who contribute materials. The company works closely with the National Association for Teachers of English (NATE), is part of the National Grid for Learning, and is a Registered Content Provider and Retailer for Curriculum Online.

Cummings study guides especially Cummings Shakespeare study guide - Rated an A+ Shakespeare resource by Web English Teacher, an American Internet site. Recommended in England by the BBC, the British Library, the UK SchoolsNet, Universal Teacher, and the University of Birmingham. This site contains guides for every play and poem Shakespeare wrote, as well as literary works Shakespeare was reported to have have written. This site also includes essays, glossaries, quotations, historical background, a complete description and history of the Globe Theatre, and other information related to Shakespeare.
