sam

Sam Cameron

Sam is currently completing Year 12 at Kormilda College so his activities with the company are restricted this year. Claims he's primarily a musician, but Sam's performance as the Beast in last year's Kormilda production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast was widely acclaimed. Also claims to be Phil Denson's apprentice, which may be a cause for serious concern.

daniel

Daniel Cunningham

Since graduating from Victorian College of the Arts Daniel has featured in many short films, being nominated for best actor in the 15/15 film festival 2006. His lead role in the play Shakespeare's Boys was one of the highlights of the 2006 Mardi Gras Arts Festival. His role in The Art of Success was acclaimed by The Age newspaper. Daniel plans a career developing new Australian work, particularly in Darwin and Melbourne.

Phillip Tarl Denson

One of Darwin's most prolific young performers, Phil has written and starred in productions of Unisex and Coming Out, starred in Cavenagh Theatre Company's production of Ben Elton's Gasping, as Beelzebub and numerous other roles in Corrugated Iron Theatre's production of Dr Faustus, and in Corrugated Iron's Furious Theatre at the Adelaide Festival. Phil claims to be foundation president of the Anti-Alliteration Association and aspires to donate kidneys (though not his own).

Anna Denson

Anna has performed in in DTC's production of Guys and Dolls in 2005 and in Corrugated Iron's production of Fear. A registered nurse, she loses few opportunities to inflict her prodigious acting talents on patients. Some say she is responsible for RDH's overcrowding problems, with patients so entertained they refuse to leave.

bunji

Bunji Elcoate

Conceived in Egypt, born in London and raised on a yacht in S-E Asia, Bunji produced Chambers Crescent Theatre's Urban Thrillogy in 2006, directed one of the productions in Sex and Beverages (a 2006 co-production between Chambers Crescent Theatre and DTC), and has played a number of roles including as Bridget O'Rourke in Balls and Chains (Administrator's Pleasure concert).

Dominic Giblin

Dom has just graduated from CDU with a degree in Communication (journalism studies) and has played significant roles in Shoestring Theatre's production of Our Country's Good and in Corrugated Iron's productions of Obernewtyn, Furious Theatre and Antigone.

Andrew Gillies

Andrew co-wrote and starred in Coming Out in 2006. His short film 'Pharmacy Phallus' won Best Film (Youth) for Fist Full of Films in 2005, while his 2006 entry 'Darwin Mobile Vets' won the People's Choice Award at the 2006 festival. Andrew has had leading roles in Corrugated Iron's productions of 'Speaking in Thongs' (2004 Darwin Fringe), 'Louis and Dave' (2005 Darwin Fringe), 'Debt' (2006 Darwin Fringe) and 'Dr Faustus' (2006). He has also played supporting roles in 'Obernewtyn,' 'The Flies,' 'Shakespeare's Chicks.'

michael

Michael Halikos

Michael starred as an hilarious Conrad Birdie in Kormilda College's production of Bye Bye Birdie in 2002, and has subsequently performed in Corrugated Iron productions including a starring role in Antigone in 2005. He aspires to make a major feature film in Darwin one day, not necessarily starring himself as a latter day Crocodle Dundee.

Kadek Hobman

Kadek and his stand-up comedy partner Dylan Bennett were awarded 2nd place nationally in the Raw Comedy International contest a couple of years ago. He has also played numerous lead roles in various Corrugated Iron productions, including Dead Zone, Obernewtyn, Pirates of the Arafura Sea, Black Crow Lullabies and Debt, as well as Darwin High School's production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead as a student some years ago.

Megan Jacobson

Megan has appeared in The Plastic Wrapped Revolution (2002) and The Pretty Pink Cartel (2003) with Charles Sturt University Theatre, co-wrote and acted in the short films Norm and Vice Versa at CSU, and has performed as an extra in Home and Away and various feature films and ads.

Emma Long

Emma has acted in a variety of recent Darwin productions including Shakespeare's Chicks, Sex and Beverages and Furious Theatre at the Adelaide Festival. Last year Emma finished her Bachelor of Visual Arts at CDU and is now moving on to a Diploma of Teaching. Apart from studying and acting she spends her time harassing her four year old daughter, working casually at the bead shop and waiting for her partner to get home from Africa.

Thea Thomas

Thea is a law student at CDU and starred in the short film La Piece Perdue produced by Kate Rice for the Fistful of Films contest, and has had leading roles in a range of mostly Corrugated Iron productions including Obernewtyn, Antigone, Furious Theatre and Pirates of the Arafura Sea (taken to the Adelaide Festival in 2006).
